2007 AGM STATEMENT.
Civica plc held its 2007 Annual General Meeting on 28th February. All resolutions put to shareholders were duly passed. Commenting on the business, chief executive Simon Downing said: “The Civica group continues to make progress in line with our stated strategy and we remain confident of the Company’s prospects in the current year to 30 September and beyond.

Civica continues to expand both in the UK and internationally, with recent new business highlights including:

• Adoption of electronic document management and workflow solutions to support improved public service delivery, at the London Borough of Wandsworth and Southampton City Council
• Agreements with Portsmouth City Council, Lancaster City Council and Wirral Partnership Homes for new Civica transaction systems
• A £1.4million managed libraries service for the Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute (SAFTI) and a new asset system for fleet service management to the Malaysian Government

The recent acquisition of VT Software Solutions (“VTSS”), an established provider of asset management systems for social housing, local government, emergency services and defence markets, further strengthens our position and the subsequent integration programme is underway.”
