Liverpool sets sights on seamless service with Comino and BT
Liverpool City Council is on target to provide a holistic view of its services thanks to selecting Comino and BT to aid its enterprise reengineering project. As recent IRRV award winners for Excellence in Customer Care, Liverpool CC looks set to improve further still in its strive for a wholly customer-centric Council.

Following the key decision to consolidate on a single platform, Comino and BT proved to be the winning combination for Liverpool to join up its processes and work towards the delivery of a seamless council.

The first phase of implementation sees Liverpool’s Supported Living Project rollout Comino’s Electronic Document Management (EDM), Workflow and Contact Manager solution in Social Care.

Partnering with BT and Liverpool, Comino has defined key Social Care processes for Children and Adult Services. These will be mapped to the existing processes in Benefits, due to the success of the Comino solution in the Revenues and Benefits department, to provide a common view of the customer in both areas of the Council.

Comino will work with BT to deliver this solution to Liverpool under the joint venture company, Liverpool Direct Limited (LDL). BT will provide the IT infrastructure support and Comino Consultancy will review Liverpool’s reengineered processes, providing advice as necessary.
